Q1. Do I need a real estate license to sell real estate?
A. Yes. You need a valid real estate license to trade in real estate on behalf of a client and also you must be registered with a licensed real estate brokerage.

Q2. How can I become a REALTOR?
A. To become a realtor, one has to complete the course 1, 2 and 3. Course 1 & 2 represent General and Course 3 represents Advanced (either Residential or Commercial) in 18 months. After passing course 3, you have to be registered with Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO). After registration, your license is valid for 24 months which is called ARTICLING PERIOD.

Q3. What is your technique to provide tuition?
A. We provide 1 on 1 coaching. Also our tutors make themselves available to answer your questions out of class via e-mail or phone.

Q4. Does my tuition fee cover unlimited classes until I pass?
A. Our tuition fee is a flat fee for unlimited session, until you pass your phase. You can take a free session, sit with us or other student and enjoy the class then decide. It is mandatory to register and pay all fees before attending the tutoring sessions. We charge only once to each phase, our commitment is up to you pass. Charges are for each phase.

Q5 Can I set my own hours and do I have to pay for my own expenses?
A. As an independent contractor you are free to set your own hours of work. But you must schedule your hours as per the needs of the clients and mandatory training and meetings that the Brokerage provides, as well as any continuing education courses that are required. You are also required to cover your own business costs, eg. License fees, advertising and promotion etc.

Q6. How much can I expect to earn?
A. Usually the earning in real estate business depends upon your performance. The compensation in this business is based on a percentage of the sale price of the property you sell and the commission on a sale is shared with other brokerage as there are usually two different companies involved, each representing the buyer and the seller. In order to increase your income significantly, you should target about 12 transactions for your first year in the business.
